Translate any YouTube video live, even without captions

Not every YouTube video has captions, and automatic ones are not always available in your language. DuoVox listens to the sound your PC plays, so it captions and translates the video as it plays, whether or not it has captions.

Get it on the Microsoft Store

How it works

  1. Install DuoVox from the Microsoft Store and open it.
  2. Choose the two languages of the conversation. DuoVox detects which one is being spoken.
  3. Set the audio source to System Audio with the headphone button in the toolbar, then press Start.
  4. Play the video or live stream in your browser or the YouTube app. DuoVox shows what is said and its translation as you watch.

Why DuoVox for YouTube

Free, Standard or Professional

Free captions and translates on your device. Standard and Professional use cloud AI for higher accuracy and more languages — 33 on Standard and 43 on Professional — and include hours every month; Pay-As-You-Go hours never expire. On paid plans, call audio is sent to our AI providers in real time to produce the captions and is not stored by us. See plans and prices.
